First exported goods accepted in Yiwu bonded zone

On the afternoon of Feb 16, three trucks carrying 75 metric tons of photovoltaic modules departed from the Yiwu plant of JA Solar and drove into the main gate of the Yiwu Comprehensive Bonded Zone.

These were the first exports, valued at 2.3 million yuan ($364,550), to be processed by the bonded zone.

Due to the attractive policies and location of the bonded zone, JA Solar has established a 14,000-square-meter goods transfer warehouse there to import and export its photovoltaic modules.
